five tricks.
It joins by itself. It sits in every room. Your notes wait on your phone. A client meeting turns into to-dos. And clean words appear wherever you talk. Tap the video for sound.
01 · Joins by itself
it goes
for you.
Coquí reads your iCloud calendar. When a webinar with a Zoom, Google Meet or RingCentral link is about to start, it opens it, gets past the join screen and starts recording. No one has to be at the desk.
It joins from your own Mac, signed in as you. So it gets into the webinars that leave cloud bots waiting outside: registration pages, sign-ins, "attendees only." Want it at one event for sure? Put a 🐸 in the title.
02 · Every room
four rooms
at once.
Big online events run breakouts at the same time. Coquí can sit in up to four of them and keeps one transcript and one summary per room.
It also judges what is worth recording. It checks the session list every few minutes and joins rooms that just went live. A room with only music or silence for 10 minutes? It leaves. Tap a room to see what it heard.
03 · Notes on your phone
notes by
morning.
When the webinar ends you get every word with a time stamp, a short summary written by Claude, and the audio file. A reminder pops up on your iPhone with the one-line gist, so you know it's done before you open your laptop.
It writes English and Spanish, even in the same webinar.
04 · Coquí Pocket
meet a client.
get the to-dos.
Record a meeting with your iPhone's Voice Memos app. Coquí picks it up on your Mac, writes it out, and pulls out what matters: decisions, money that was said, promises, to-dos and a follow-up text.
The notes land in that client's folder, matched by the memo's name. The follow-up text is only a draft. Nothing goes out until you send it.
05 · Coquí Talk
hold fn.
talk. done.
Hold the Fn key on your Mac, say what you mean, let go. Clean words appear where your cursor is, with the ums gone.
It shapes the words for the app you're in. Emails get a greeting and a sign-off. Chats stay short. A prompt for ChatGPT or Claude stays a prompt. Say the name of someone on screen and it types a real @tag. On iPhone it's one press of the Action button.
What makes it different
not your usual notetaker.
| Many notetakers | Coquí | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting in | A cloud bot asks to join and can get stuck at sign-in | Joins as you, from your own Mac |
| Big events | One meeting at a time | Up to 4 rooms of one event at once |
| Empty rooms | Records whatever room it's in | Leaves dead rooms, joins live ones |
| What it covers | Video calls | Webinars, in-person meetings and dictation |
| Your audio | Sent to their cloud to transcribe | Transcribed on your own Mac |
Case study
built for a two‑day summit.
I built Coquí for myself. In October 2026 I had a two-day online AI summit with a main stage, breakouts and a VIP lounge, on the same days as client work. I couldn't sit through all of it, and cloud notetaker bots get stopped at that kind of sign-in page.
Day one, Coquí recorded every session I sent it to. Day two taught it a lesson: it sat in a main stage that played music for hours while the VIP lounge happened without it. So I changed how it decides. It now judges each room by real talk, not sound, and goes where the talk is.
Coquí is one of the custom apps for small businesses I build at Passionate Minds. Want one like it for your team? Book a demo and I'll show it to you on a real webinar.
18recordings in its first two days, across every room it could find
4rooms at once, each with its own transcript and summary

Questions
good questions.
What is Coquí?
Coquí is an AI notetaker that runs on your Mac. It joins your webinars from your calendar by itself, records them, and gives you a time-stamped transcript, a short summary and the audio. It also turns iPhone voice memos into meeting notes and types clean text when you hold the Fn key.
Which meeting apps does it join?
Zoom, RingCentral Events and Google Meet links on your iCloud calendar. Zoom and RingCentral run every week. With Google Meet, the host may need to let it in.
Does my Mac need to stay on?
Yes. Coquí runs on your own Mac, so it needs to be on, plugged in and awake at webinar time. That's also why it gets into webinars that stop cloud bots at the door: it joins as you.
Is my audio private?
The words are transcribed on your own Mac and the audio file stays there. Only the text is sent to Claude to write the summary.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. It writes English and Spanish, and it handles a webinar that switches between the two.
Can it be in more than one session at once?
Yes. Up to four sessions of the same event, with one transcript and one summary each. It leaves rooms that have gone quiet and joins sessions that just went live.
How do I get Coquí?
Book a demo. I set it up on your Mac, connect your calendar and show you the buttons. Your notes stay in your own folders.
