How it works

How does a custom app get built?

You never get a manual and a YouTube link. You get a working demo, early, and someone who answers.

  1. 01

    I watch how you work

At your counter, with your staff. Where does time leak? What gets typed twice?

  2. 02

    You get a live demo

A working app on your phone, not a slide deck. Click it, break it, tell me.

  3. 03

    Your crew tests it

Real bookings, real stock, in English and Spanish. Your changes go in.

  4. 04

    It goes live

Then I keep fixing whatever you want different. Quickly.

★★★★★
“One of the best and most coherent rental sites I have seen, both on the customer side and staff side.”

Questions owners ask

Before you build anything.

What is a custom app for a small business?

A custom app is software built for one business and the way it already works, instead of a general tool everyone shares. It runs in a phone or computer browser, so there is nothing to install. Examples here: a surfboard rental booking system and a barcode scanner app for a retail store.

Why not just use off-the-shelf software?

Off-the-shelf tools are built for the average business, so you bend your shop to fit them. Surf Zone rented boards through software made for tours, and customers could not see which board they were getting. A custom app starts from how your counter actually works.

Does a custom app work with my register?

It can. Scan Wizard, the barcode scanner app, downloads your catalog ready to import into Clover, Square or Shopify, or as a plain spreadsheet for any other system.

Do my staff need to install anything?

No. Both apps on this page open in the browser on any phone or computer. Staff sign in and start working.

Can the app work in Spanish?

Yes. The surf rental booking system runs in English and Spanish, including the texts and emails it sends to customers.

How do we start?

Send a message or call (904) 614-7190. Miriam learns how your business runs, maps where time and money leak, and shows you a working demo before anything is final. You test it with your own staff and ask for changes.

What would your crew stop typing?

Tell me the one job your crew does over and over. I'll come back with how an app could take it off the counter.
