What is the difference between SEO, GEO and AEO?
SEO gets a business ranked in Google's regular results and Maps. GEO, generative engine optimization, makes it the business that AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overview recommend. AEO, answer engine optimization, makes it the direct answer to a typed or spoken question. All three depend on search engines being sure who the business is.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Some results move in days. For the clinic in Aguadilla, Google's AI Overview named it first six days after the audit, and Bing ranked it number one within a day of the fixes going live. Google's main results move slower, usually weeks to months.
Do I need a new website to rank?
Usually not. The clinic kept its Wix website. The fixes were indexing, titles, descriptions, headings, name and address details, structured data and a verified Google Business Profile.
Why can't AI search tools find my business?
Most often because the records about you disagree. Your website, your Google profile and public registries list different names or addresses, so AI tools can't be sure who you are and recommend someone else. Fixing that is called entity resolution, and it's where this work starts.
Does it work on Wix, WordPress, Squarespace or Shopify?
Yes. The fixes are written to be pasted into any platform, and the clinic's site was on Wix. If you'd rather not touch it, I can put the approved changes live for you.
What does an engagement include?
A full scan of your site, a gap audit against a 21-point checklist, competitor research, the identity fix, paste-ready titles, descriptions, structured data and FAQ, Google Business Profile setup, and a dated rank check, so every result can be traced.
How do you prove the results?
Every position is checked on a set date and screenshotted. Your Google rank is checked again every Monday, and every fix is re-checked on the live site by a separate review, not by the person who made it.
What do you need from me to start?
Your website address and the name of whoever has access to it. If a government or license registry lists you wrong, you log in and fix it yourself, and I write the steps click by click. Your passwords for those stay with you.
